During my childhood walks

I would find these two flowers*

They were supposed to have super powers

One would provide answers to my wishes

and the other,

when placed under my chin,

Would foresee a unique insight into my friendships

During my walk today,

I didn't pick either of the flowers, but

I still wondered if

They retain those childhood powers

After I published the above I learned

that the two flowers in the photograph

were instead a round seed head and a

yellow flower of the common Dandelion plant
